Q4 Sponsorships for School Children
In 2019 Damara started to offer individual and corporate sponsors to partner with us to support children from very poor families to attend school by providing uniforms and school supplies.
With only a limited number of people made aware of the program through providing brochures to guests staying in Villa Bugis, 22 children now already have individuals sponsors who have committed to a yearly contribution.
Further, two businesses in Bali have partnered with Damara and generously donated enough funds to enable us to help 36 children for this school year. Both have committed to ongoing contributions. They are:
Damara is supporting 96 children for the school year 2019-2020. For the children who still don’t have individual or corporate sponsors, we have been able to fund the cost from the initial start up donation for the program from Villa Bugis Management.
