Supporting Sustainable Education for Underprivileged Children

Damara Bali foundation together with sponsors and Villa Bugis, has shown genuine care for improving access to education for underprivileged children through a free school shoes distribution program.

In a deeply touching moment, a pair of new shoes became more than just a school necessity. It symbolized renewed spirit, confidence, and hope for village children who strive every day to pursue their education.

“Education is the key to empowering the nation. We want children to come to school with enthusiasm and confidence.”

This program is part of Yayasan Damara Bali foundation’s commitment to promoting inclusive and equitable education, especially for families in need. Beyond simply distributing aid, this initiative carries an important moral message: every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, deserves a fair opportunity to achieve their dreams.

This is not just about shoes. It is about building confidence, inspiring motivation, and providing a stepping stone toward a brighter future. Supporting children’s education goes beyond technical or administrative matters—it reflects the presence and moral responsibility of the community.

Simple steps like this, when carried out consistently and collectively, can help build a more just and sustainable educational ecosystem.

Providing shoes to underprivileged children not only helps improve their quality of life but also protects their feet from infections, while increasing their comfort and motivation to learn. New shoes can boost confidence, ease the financial burden on parents, and ensure children can attend school safely.

The shoe distribution took place on March 22, 2026, benefiting 43 underprivileged children in Datah Village, Karangasem, Bali.

These are the voices and hopes of the children.

Let’s walk alongside them—provide proper footwear so they can move forward with greater confidence and momentum.
